Jamie is still as popular as ever, and visitors to the British GP and World Superbike parties in the Exhibition Centre at Donington Park, will have seen Jamie doing the same thing to his drum kit, as his band the PO Boys are one of the regular bands that play at the race meeting parties.

It is some time now since ex-racer and mentor Mike Grant brought Jamie onto the scene. We can remember traveling with them to the French GP in either 1992 or 1993, although we are not sure of the date, we do remember Jamie finished 15th in his first GP on the Magny Cours circuit.
